dc.description.abstractThe elegance and temperament of the Arab horse has been fascinating people for decades and turned the Arabian into a very popular breed. The value of these horses is not only of economic but also emotional importance since these horses are outstanding companions for every horse owner. This work will give an insight into the genetic disorders that endanger the sound breeding of Arabian purebreds and will show the most recent developments in managing, and hopefully eradicating, genetic related diseases of the Arab horse.en
