dc.description.abstractAdenoviruses can be found in every Vertebrate class. Family Adenoviridae has 5 accepted and one proposed genera. My work was focusing on Atadenovirus genus because this genus is thought to have coevolved with squamate reptiles. In spite of this, first they were found in ruminants, birds and in a marsupial species. Parvoviruses are widespread both among invertebrates and vertebrates. Within Parvoviridae family, my work was concentrating on the Dependoparvovirus genus because all the known reptile parvoviruses belong to this group.en
