Ketózis monitoring eljárás bevezetése rutin teljesítményvizsgálati tejminták vizsgálatával magyarországi tejhasznú tehénállományokban
Abstract
In the present days one of the most important disease of dairy cattle herds is the ketosis. The special physiology of the digestion of the ruminants (microbial fermentation in the proventriculi, the energy supply is volatile fatty acid based) and the energy deficit after the parturation and at the beginning of the lactation play role in its development. The frequency of its occurence is 7-34 % depending on herds. The occurrence of the subclinical and clinical forms in one herd can be demonstrated by the "iceberg" effect. The subclinical form is rather a management problem, the occurrence and its harmful effect can be decreased by feeding, but the clinical form needs veterinary treatment.
