dc.description.abstractThe thesis is concerned with the Tyrolean Grey cattle breed, an autochthonal, dual purpose, alpine mountain cattle breed. The objective of the study is to describe the typical characterisation of the breed and showing the changes of physical aspects and performances by time. For the analysis it were recorded in 2014, body measurements and the pedigree data of 62 Grey Alpine cattles. With the collaboration of the “Südtiroler Rinderzuchtverband” it were collected, from the herd book 1949, body measurements data of 51 Grey Alpine cattles from 1946 until 1957.en_US
