Abstract
In November 2015 a study was conducted on a group of Przewalski horses in Hungary, in order to determine the occurrence of Equine Herpes Virus 1, Equine Infectious Anemia and Equine Viral Arteritis. These horses live wild in the National park, in Hortobágyi were they remain isolated from other horse populations. This particular study was of interested due to the fact that this is a closed population of horses that reproduces by means of natural breeding. What is more none of the horses has received vaccination against any of the tested agents. The herd therefore has developed stable immunity.
