dc.description.abstractObjectives: To do a retrospective and current caseload-based study on gastric ulcer and gastric neoplasm biopsy samples taken and sent to histopathology from both endoscopy and surgery, and compare the histopathological lesions identified. Methods: Retrospective review of electronic medical records of the Small Animal Clinic of the University of Veterinary Medicine in Budapest between January 2014 and January 2019, were a total of 2435 cases were reviewed. Comparison of the findings on gross examination as well as histopathological examination of biopsy samples obtained via endoscopy and laparotomy was evaluated. The samples were divided into 3 groups as follows: complete match, incomplete match and total mismatch.en_US
