dc.description.abstractDue to sheep the history of sheep husbandry over and above favorable environmental conditions, it is extremely popular among hungarian animal husbandry sectors. The development of assisted reproduction procedures, furthermore the successful storage of frozen sperm, made it possible to use frozen sperm during the artificial insemination of farm animals. It has been used in many species of animals for decades, however it has an additional role in sheep breeding so far, one of the reasons for this may be, that during the freezing process the motility of the ram's sperm and consequently its fertilization ability, decreases.en_US
