Abstract
Autism is a lifelong neurodevelopmental disability. One in 100 people are on the autism spectrum. Autism a specific condition that everyone will encounter sooner or later in their lives. But what is Autism? What does it mean to be autistic, how can we measure and define this circumstance and how can rodent models help us to understand the causes of autism and evaluate potential treatments for its condition.
