Abstract
The primary objective of this literature review is to investigate contemporary research into canine intestinal dysbiosis and its importance in canine health today. A particular emphasis will be placed on the examination of metronidazole, tylosin, dietary intervention and probiotic therapy, with the aim of gaining enhanced insight into the current therapeutic approaches available to veterinary clinicians. Understanding and effectively addressing canine intestinal dysbiosis is pivotal in promoting the optimal functioning of the canine digestive system, and linked extraintestinal disorders.
