Abstract
The effect of heat stress on the estrous behavior of dairy cows is a critical factor influencing reproductive efficiency in livestock management. Heat stress disrupts the physiological and hormonal balance of cows, leading to reduced expression of estrous behaviors, which are essential for successful insemination and reproduction Estrous activity was monitored using hormonal assays during periods of varying heat stress conditions. Data analysis revealed a significant correlation between elevated THI levels and decreased estrous behavior, including reduced mounting activity, lower physical movement, and shorter estrous duration.
