In the present work we described different RTKs, including the identification and description of their structure, function, and presence and expression dependence on the type of a particular cancer. For this study five common tumour types occurring in canine population and known to be associated with abnormal expression patterns of certain growth factor receptors were chosen. Namely these were mammary gland tumour, mast cell tumour, soft tissue sarcomas, haemangiosarcoma and perianal sac gland adenocarcinoma.en
