dc.description.abstractIn this retrospective study, the endocrinological response to anti-thyroid treatment, and clinical presentation of 63 hyperthyroid cats diagnosed from 1 January 2000 through 31 December 2012 at Fredrikstad Dyrehospital AS were evaluated. The patients were treated with different dosing regiments of either methimazole or carbimazole. Control serum thyroxine levels were obtained along with duration of treatment, dose of anti-thyroid medication and body weight, amongst other clinical data.en
