dc.description.abstractThe European legislation regulates the transport of live animals strictly to ensure an adequate level of animal welfare. In this paper, the guide to good practices for the transport of cattle and additional literature was screened for options of technological nature which enhance animal welfare beyond legal minimum or facilitate the compliance with the legal minimum. Propositions to the authorized transporters, authorized keepers at check points and the competent authorities were formulated.en_US
