The professional journey of almost every Hungarian veterinarian begins at UVMB Alma Mater. This common origin gives particular importance to remembrance: to preserving the careers, stories, and personal examples that have shaped the veterinary profession across generations. The Hungarian Veterinary Pantheon commemorates not only those honoured with distinctions and professional recognition, but also all those who, through their knowledge, humanity, and influence on colleagues and students, have left a lasting legacy. The library and archives preserve written and visual records; however, personal stories, career trajectories, and examples of professional dedication can only be recalled collectively. We therefore invite all members of the University to take part in the Hungarian Veterinary Pantheon — both as visitors and as contributors to remembrance.
