The legal aspects of animal protection in Switzerland

Abstract

Every day there are articles, movements, protests regarding animals that goes from supporters of animal lives, wildlife protection, to vegan, vegetarian adepts, all prone the same things the protection and defence of the animals. Never before have the animal related-causes been so intense. There is no doubt that all over the world there is finally this awareness that animals have to be treated in a decent way, slaughtered in appropriate conditions. Among the countries standing up and acting legally, without doubt Switzerland has gone through important improvements in the farming conditions. Unfortunately, when analysing the situation there is still so much to do.
