Comparison of Legislation of Laboratory Animals and Experimentations in China, The United States, and Norway

Abstract

This thesis sets out to investigate the legislation of laboratory animals in China, the United States, and Norway, through a literature review. It will review the topic from a non-biased perspective and evaluate the legislation and animal welfare from a scientific and ethical approach. These countries were chosen as they have different legislation regarding animal welfare and the protection law, hence one can gain a broader perspective and knowledge. It should also be noted that Norway was chosen due to it being my home country.
