Clinical comparison of glycosuria caused by administration of two commercially available infusions, Sorbivert infusion and Glucose-solution 40% in cows with subclinical ketosis

Abstract

Subclinical ketosis is a common pathophysiological condition during early lactation in high yielding dairy cows. Among others, the administration of high glucose containing infusions is a major part of the early control of this disorder.
