Measurement of the length of the palpebral fissure in dog

Abstract

In this study the palpebral fissure length of 11 brachycephalic, 85 mesocephalic and 1 dolichocephalic dog was measured and evaluated. Regarding the link in between the breeds, it was not possible to compare the findings of our study to other literature, as no research was made until now which includes this many different kinds of breeds. Also, age, gender and bodyweight were not included in former studies until now.
