Professional Liability of Veterinarians in Ireland

Abstract

This thesis investigates the professional liability of vets in Ireland with regards to the legal and ethical challenges faced working in the profession today. It begins by reviewing the relevant historical context and explains the evolution of the responsibilities of the profession. It discusses the history of the profession from the establishment of the first British vet school in 1791.
