Bovine respiratory disease complex (BRDC) is one of the most common and costly disease in cattle production worldwide. The multifactorial nature of BRDC necessitates comprehensive research and targeted strategies for prevention, including identification and serotyping of prevalent strains and vaccination combined with improved management practices, to mitigate its impact on cattle health and productivity. The last major serological examination of Mannheimia haemolytica and Bibersteinia trehalosi in Hungarian cattle was published twenty-four years ago, highlighting the timeliness and relevance of undertaking this research again.en_US
