Abstract
The primary goal of our work was to investigate the situation of Thoroughbred breeding based on data obtained in a Hungarian Thoroughbred Farm, with particular regard to the breeding processes, its regulation, manipulation, and the period of pregnancy, as well as the factors surrounding foaling. We collected information and data about the covering and foaling seasons of the last six to seven years (2017-2023), which we recorded in digital form since they were only available in the form of handwritten notes. Approximately 260 broodmares and their offspring, 160 foals, were analysed in the research.
