Abstract

Equine Grass Sickness (EGS)also known as Equine dys-autonomia,is a polyneuropathy disease,causing neurodegeneration of the autonomic nervous system, most commonly resulting in fatality. It primarily effectsthe gastrointestinal tract with evidence suggesting thatthe ileum isthe main location of damage.
