Abstract

In our experiment we investigated the effect of Repchol herbal choline supplementation in dairy cattle in comparison to rumen protected choline. The experiment was carried out in Nagyszentjános, a dairy farm of Kisalföld Mezőgazdasági Zrt.. In the study we compared milk production and composition, and blood parameters of second and third lactation cows. The cows of the control group were fed a rumen protected choline supplementation, ReaShure for 3 weeks prior to calving, while the cows of the experimental group recieved Repchol herbal choline supplementation for 3 weeks prior to calving.
