Equine genetic diseases with special regards to DNA tests

Abstract

This thesis is a literature review of the current genomic data about the gene mutations for a variety of genetic diseases of horses. A special emphasises will be given to the latest up-todate mutations which are DNA tested, analysing publications about seven DNA-tested genetic disorders in horses.
