Abstract
Salmonid alphavirus (SAV) is the causative agent of the viral infection Pancreas Disease (PD) in marine water phase Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar L.) and rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss), and Sleeping Disease (SD) in freshwater reared rainbow trout.
