Genetics and Genetic Disorders of the Dachshund
Absztrakt
This review provides an insight into current genomics data of the hereditary diseases
including monogenic (qualitative) and polygenic (quantitative) characteristics and looks
into the possibilities of prevention and breeding measures to be taken in the interest of
developing a healthy Dachshund breed. Essentially, this thesis provides a clinical and indepth description of the most significant genetic diseases associated with the Dachshund
canine breed.
