The infectious bursal disease is a highly contagious disease that affects chickens of young age globally, with an immunosuppressive effect. It is caused by the IBD virus, which targets the bursa of Fabricius of young chickens mainly between the ages of 3 weeks to 6 weeks old. My paper focuses on the diagnostic and control measures that are in place right now for IBD. I compare different ways of diagnostics that are utilized and compare them to lesserknown techniques.en_US
