Abstract
The aim of our research is the comparison of the high-end electrosurgical blood vessel and tissue sealing instruments Thunderbeat™ TB-0535PC, LigaSure™ LS1500 and EnSeal® ETSDRC-01 respectively. With our results we wish to assist would-be users in selecting the most adequate instrument for the various surgery types. My thesis and the research results are constituents of my supervisor’s electrosurgical research project.
