dc.description.abstract	In this thesis I will demonstrate the functions of VetEpiGIS-Tool, a free QGIS tool, which can be used to fulfil the above mentioned tasks. It was developed by my supervisor Dr. Norbert Solymosi with the contribution of Nicola Ferre, Matteo Mazzucato and Paolo Mulatti from The Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale delle Venezie (IZSVe), the Italian health authority and research organization for animal health and food safety.	en_US
