dc.description.abstract | To investigate the endoparasitic infections of dogs in a shelter in Eastern Hungary, 33 faecal samples and 35 blood samples were collected and investigated at the Department of Parasitology and Zoology at the University of Veterinary Medicine in Budapest in 2019. All the faecal samples were investigated with Mini-FLOTAC test, Witness® Giardia Test (Zoetis) for G. duodenalis antigens and Baermann method. The blood samples were examined for microfilariae with the native blood smear or modified Knott’s method and DiroCheck® for Diroflaria immitis antigens. | en_US |
