dc.description.abstractAtresia ani is a relatively common congenital defect in Holstein-Friesian cattle. In this veterinary diploma work all available literature concerning atresia ani was reviewed. Holstein-Friesians were the most reported breed, there were no significant differences between males and females, age of diagnosis was within the first day of life and the presence of other congenital defects was often noted.en_US
