dc.description.abstract | The term “Heterocyclic Amines” is not a term the average person uses or even has heard of in general. However, “cancer”or “cancerogenic substances”are a very common name. Almost everyone has been affected by cancer some way or another throughout our lifetime. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), cancer is responsible for one in six deaths globally, and caused approximately 9,6 million deaths in 2018. This makes cancer the second leading cause of death worldwide (WHO (World Health Organisation), 2018). | en_US |
