dc.description.abstract | Cheese has become a great part of our daily diet, with Europe being the largest consumer of cheese in the world. In 2019, the cheese consumption on average was 18,42 kg per capita in Europe (statista). During the 7 year period between1997 and 2004, the worlds cheese production increased by around 10%. For hard cheese, the number for the same time period is 7%, from 3291- to 3525 -thousand tonnes. | en_US |
