Radiological findings of 2 year old horses during prepurchase examinations in Hungary

Abstract

As the equine athlete has to work on top performance that requires investment of both time and work the early investigation of orthopedic disorders present in the horses is inevitable. Prepurchase examinations play great role in diagnosing any preexisting orthopedic disorder in the horse such as arthritis and osteochondrosis that could affect its athletic performance.
