Exploring the development of the hearing organ helps in understanding hearing and its associated functions. The role of the supporting cells of the organ of Corti have always been overshadowed by the investigation into the hearing function. Recently published methods, like the single cell electroporation, have allowed for the loading of fluorescent dyes in these cells, while 𝐶𝐶𝐶𝐶2+ imaging has provided the means to investigate the 𝐶𝐶𝐶𝐶2+ transients of the Deiters’ cells. Using previously crafted world-renowned models as our basis, we set out to accurately track and chart the 𝐶𝐶𝐶𝐶2+ mechanisms in the Deiters’ cell. By adapting the differential equations found in Li-Rinzel paper, we successfully created a closed cell model in which the 𝐶𝐶𝐶𝐶2+ stores and their associated channels were homogeneously monitored.en_US
