Many dogs of several different breeds are affected by inflammatory bowel disease or chronic enteropathy. The exact pathogenesis behind the disease is unfortunately not known, but there are several theories about etiopathogenesis. It is a highly relevant disease, and it can clinically present itself in various forms. The symptoms can be mild to severe. It is important to know how to connect the clinical signs, and an early diagnosis can be crucial. The hard part about inflammatory bowel disease, and/or chronic enteropathy is how to treat it successfully.en_US
