dc.description.abstractSubject: A literature review on adverse food reactions (AFR) in dogs and cats: cutaneous and non-cutaneous forms. Aim of the study: This thesis sets out to investigate the current knowledge on AFR in dogs and cats, aiming to find essential information to raise a better knowledge on this topic, and in turn, making it easier for the general veterinarian to diagnose, follow up, and manage food allergies and intolerances in companion animals. Material: Many articles and studies has been analyzed during the work of this thesis, where the series about AFR of Olivry et al. (2015-2020) has been an important basis, bringing up current knowledge on different aspects on the topic. Another article written by Olivry and Unterer (2018) also includes important features regarding the topic.en_US
