As vectors of various pathogens, mosquitoes hold a significant role in human and veterinary medicine. Their capacity to transmit a wide spectrum of potentially deadly diseases, including viruses belonging to the Flaviviridae family, highlights their importance concerning public health. These arboviruses can spread when vector mosquito species feed humans, birds, and mammals. The behaviour, feeding habits, preferred habitats, and geographical distribution of these vector mosquito species play a critical role in understanding the epidemiology of mosquito-borne diseases.en_US
