Enamel hypoplasia (EH) represents a significant developmental anomaly affecting dental hard tissues and is attributed to a variety of etiological factors, including infectious diseases, pyrexia, trauma, and nutritional insufficiencies during the amelogenesis phase. Notably, the past decade has witnessed the identification of hereditary origins for EH in certain canine breeds such as Swedish Standard Poodles, Italian Greyhounds, and Samoyed Dogs, which are clinically referred to as amelogenesis imperfecta.en_US
