In this thesis, the main goal was to figure out the advantages and disadvantages of feeding dogs a BARF (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food) diet and to understand what leads their owners to choose this feeding method. The findings are based on scientific literature. The most commonly claimed advantages of BARF feeding for dogs are that it resembles the wolf’s diet, offers health benefits such as improved dental hygiene, and allows precise control over the ingredients. However, potential disadvantages include nutritional deficiencies and the risk of pathogens from raw meat.en_US
