health threat and are a common reason for dogs being abandoned in shelters or euthanized.
Aggression, separation anxiety, and general anxiety disorder are the most seen issues to date,
where multiple factors such as genetics, breed, rearing, and environment contribute.
Nutrition plays a vital role in many processes of the body, but is not focused on during the
treatment of animals with behavioural issues. This literature review focuses on how nutrition
