Abstract
This literature review discusses the role of AI and quantitative gait analysis tools in improving equine lameness detection and their potential to complement traditional diagnostic methods. Diagnosing low-grade lameness remain challenging due to limitations in traditional evaluation methods. Recent developments in objective gait analysis offer promising solutions to these challenges.
