dc.description.abstractThis thesis looks at the characteristics of the Akhal-Teke horse, a breed originating in Turkmenistan and dating back thousands of years. It is studied not only for its distinctive physical traits, such as the characteristic metallic sheen of its coat; but also for its genetic ancestry and adaptations to extreme conditions in deserts. Chronicler provides a picture of the Turkmen culture symbol, breed had been used in wars and trades. It covers modern breeding practices and efforts to maintain genetic diversity while also tackling the competition performance of the Akhal-Teke in an various equestrian disciplines.en_US
