Abstract
One Health is a multi-disciplinary approach recognising the interconnection between animal, human and environmental health. Veterinarians are placed uniquely to contribute to One Health, considering their responsibility towards human health, animal health, animal welfare and environmental health and the inherently holistic and comprehensive nature of their skillset. This thesis examines the role of veterinary education in promoting the One Health approach by surveying students at the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest.
