This paper aims to review the current literature regarding Patent Ductus Arteriosus and retrospectively study the disease over a 4-year period. This retrospective study provides insights into PDA's presentation, management, and outcomes in dogs, further contributing to our understanding of this congenital heart disease. Consistent with existing literature, our findings demonstrated a strong female predisposition to PDA; this observation reinforced the wellestablished hypothesis that PDA is sex-linked.en_US
