This study explored the prevalence of gastric ulcers in thoroughbred horses, a breed known to be particularly susceptible to this condition. The primary focus was to examine how feeding practices, particularly the inclusion of high-fiber diets, influence the development of gastric ulcers & the performance of these horses. Horses fed high-fiber meals before training exhibited a significantly lower prevalence of gastric ulcers compared to horses trained on an empty stomach.en_US
