I looked at various animal models in the search of a complete pathology of Alzheimer’s disease. In this study I evaluated rodents, canines, felines and non-human primates. I found that each model resembled different aspects of AD however, no model captured the complete picture. To confirm the occurrence of AD the presence of the two hallmark features of the disease, Aβ plaques and neurofibrillary tangles have to occur together.en_US
