This thesis examines the effects of the dietary inclusion of yellow mealworm (Tenebrio molitor). Authorized as a feed ingredient in fish nutrition, yellow mealworm presents an alternative protein source with substantial potential to enhance sustainability in fish farming. The review begins with an overview of the general biological characteristics and nutritional profile of Tenebrio molitor, followed by a concise introduction to each fish species examined, including European Seabass (Dicentrarchus labrax), Atlantic Salmon (Salmo salar), Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus), Rainbow Trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss), and African Catfish (Clarias gariepinus).en_US
