Abstract
To conclude, as there is no cure for this disease the main objective is to slow the progression of OA, reduce pain and improve the quality of life. As shown in my earlier section, an overall theme from the current research about CBD oil and its potential use in dogs with OA, is that there is a need for more clinical trials and research, particularly about the long-term effects and potential side effects in dogs. Especially as multiple studies have shown increased levels of ALP suggesting potential liver toxicity.
