Dokumentumok a magyar állatorvosi oktatás történetéhez IV. 1876–1945

Abstract

Egyetemünk könyvtára az első alkalommal 1987-ben, a 200. tanév alkalmából tette közzé a magyar állatorvosi oktatás kezdeti korszakából származó levéltári forrásait. (Dokumentumok a magyar állatorvosi oktatás történetéhez I. 1786-1816. Szerk. Bakonyi Ferencné, Gábor Iván. Bp. 1987.) A szerzők a kötet bevezetőjében már akkor jelezték, hogy forráskiadvány sorozat közzétételét határozták el, amelyből 1994-ig további két kötet jelent meg. A jelen kötetben az 1876-1945 közötti hatvankilenc esztendő levéltári dokumentumait mutatjuk be, amelyeket az Állatorvostudományi Egyetem levéltárában őrzünk. E korszak anyaga már rendkívül hiányosan maradt ránk, ugyanakkor jeleznünk kell, hogy a közzétett levéltári dokumentumok egy részében olyan iratokra is találunk hivatkozásokat, melyek az egyetem levéltárában nem lelhetők fel, egykori létezésükről csak közvetve – a forrás alapján – van tudomásunk.

It was in 1987, at the 200th academic year that the Library of our University published its archive sources from the early period of Hungarian veterinary training for the first time.(Dokumentumok a magyar állatorvosi oktatás történetéhez I. 1786 –1816. – Documents of the history of Hungarian veterinary training I., 1786 – 1816. Eds. Bakonyi Ferencné, Gábor Iván. Bp. 1987.) The editors indicated already in the introduction of the first volume that the publication of a source document series had been decided. Two further volumes had been issued until 1994. ( Volume II. 1817 – 1849. Ed. Szögi László. Bp. 1990. – Volume III. 1850 –1875. Eds. Bakonyi Ferencné, Drobinoha Angéla, Gábor Iván. Bp. 1994.) The present compilation covers the documents of 69 years, from 1876 to 1945 of the archive of the University of Veterinary Science. The material of this period is far from being complete. It should also be noted that documents not available in the university archive are also referred to in some of the published items. We have only indirect evidence – the source itself – of their existence.

Die Bibliothek unserer Universität hat das erste Mal im Jahre 1987 aufgrund des 200-jährigen Jubiläums aus der Anfangs-Periode der ungarischen tierärztlichen Ausbildung stammende Archiv-Dokumente publiziert (Dokumente zur Geschichte der Veterinärmedizinischen Ausbildung un Ungarn. Band I. 1786-1816. Hrsg. Ilona Bakonyi, Iván Gábor. Budapest, 1987.) Schon damals in der Einleitung des Bandes kündigten die Verfasser an, dass sie mit dieser Publikation eine Serie angefangen hatten. Danach sind bis 1994 zwei weitere Bände erschienen (Dokumente zur Geschichte der Veterinärmedizinischen Ausbildung in Ungarn. Band II. 1817-1849. Hrsg. László Szögi. Budapest, 1990., und Dokumente zur Geschichte der Veterinärmedizinischen Ausbildung in Ungarn. Band III. 1850-1875. Hrsg. Ilona Bakonyi, Angela Drobinoha, Iván Gábor. Budapest, 1994.) Im vorliegenden Band über die Jahre 1876-1945 führen wir Dokumente über neunundsechsig Jahre an, die im Archiv der Tierärztlichen Universität aufbewahrt sind. Das Material dieser Periode ist schon sehr mangelhaft geblieben. Gleichzeitig muss man darauf hinweisen, dass wir in einem bestimmten Teil der Dokuemente auch auf solche Akten Bezug nahmen, die im Archiv der Universität nicht auffindbar sind, also von ihrem Vorhandensein Kenntnis nur aufgrund der Quellen besteht.
